“The Classes are relaxed, fun and informative”

- J Dawson, 2018 -

Hypnobirthing Classes Bristol, Bath & Stroud

The Philosophy

HypnoBirthing are usually private, held either in person at my home or yours, or by video call. You will learn the techniques to help you transition into the birth with a calm, positive mindset and a relaxed body. You will also learn the chronology of birth to help navigate medical protocols. Ultimately, the aim is to help you trust in the birth process and enable you to have the best birth possible. It can be amazing!

"When should I start the classes?"

Somewhere between 25-30 weeks is ideal but if you’re past that, don’t worry! There’s still lots to learn and make all the difference to the lead up and birth. You can either attend alone, but it is best to be accompanied by your birthing companion; your partner or doula - whoever will be with you during the birth.

'“How long are the classes?”

The teaching is a total of 10hrs and it is a good idea to space the sessions a minimum of a week apart, so you can practice the techniques. You can choose how you want to break the hours up; 4 evenings, or over 2 weekend days.
